B-Corp Certified Beauty Brands
A certified B-Corp brand is no easy feat. Getting a B-Corp certified is rather hard and even brands who are super-sustainable don’t achieve this certification. So what does it mean to be a certified B-Corp?
“A Certified B Corporation is a company that has voluntarily met the highest standards for social and environmental performance.”
When you see the B-Corp symbol, you can ensure that the product and brand are meeting the highest of high standards. Here are 5 beauty brands that have achieved the B-Corp certification.

The body shop is a trailblazer in sustainable, clean beauty. While they might be known for their body washes and butters they offer so much more including hair products and even a line of impressive makeup. Not only are they a Certified B-Corporation but they are also 100% cruelty free.
Osea is a clean skincare brand founded in 1996. They’re a certified B-Corp, climate-neutral certified, cruelty-free and ocean positive! Their seaweed infused skincare is innovative and respects nature, the way beauty should.
Elate is one of the OG’s when it comes to sustainable makeup brands. They offer an extensive makeup line that includes refillable and recyclable containers. They’re also a certified B-Corp, cruelty-free and their ingredients are ethically sourced!
Ethique is a newer brand founded in 2012. With sustainability at the core of this brand, they’re not on certified B-Corp but offer their products in a solid form (think bars) to reduce plastic waste. You can get all your hair, body and skincare needs all in one place without the waste!
I’ve always joked that if I were a brand it would be Meow Meow Tweet. Their packaging is too cute and their products come in solid form as well as refillable jars! On top of being a certified B-Corp, they’re also plastic-negative, climate-neutral, and cruelty free.
These brands love and care about the planet and if you do too, I urge you to try out one of these 5 certified B-Corp beauty brands!
