Sustainable backpacks for school and work
Backpacks are typically made from nylon or polyester. Both of which are forms of plastic. While of course these materials are harmful to our environment and damaging in the manufacturing process, the chemicals that they contain are harmful to us as well, especially young kids who are carrying these things around all day. Here are some healthier, sustainable backpacks to check out this year.

Sustainable backpacks for back to school:
1. Terra Thread – Everyday organic cotton backpack
Just like the first backpack on this list, this one from Terra Thread also contains no harmful chemicals. This is more of a full-size backpack with a water bottle pocket on the side to fit your reusable bottle and several pockets inside including a laptop sleeve.
